We are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager for our Thames Water Major Projects Programme to work as part of our Thames Water Lot 4 Framework. This work is across the Thames Valley and London areas.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for delivery of water network services and other water and waste infrastructure projects in in Thames Valley and London areas. Through a team of industry professionals, you will be responsible for managing resource levels. You will be agreeing and assisting in the development of Target Cost setting, coordination of design and driving projects through the life-cycle process. You will do this without compromising on health, safety, environment, well-being, quality and well-being.
You will be supporting your team from a technical side you will need good knowledge of water and waste water infrastructure projects with a civil engineering capability. Ensuring compliance with MWS procedures to deliver world-class health, safety, environment and well-being performance and providing excellent customer service and satisfaction. You will also deliver operational objectives to support Thames Water in meeting their Performance Commitments achieving high levels of compliance.
You will need to be an experienced leader with proven track record in leading a multi-functional team with proven ability to deliver against operational targets
Are you commercially aware and engaged?
Are you naturally collaborative, able to build relationships with key client and supply chain contacts?
Do you have experience working with and managing specialist supply chain for effective, efficient delivery?
You will be committed to delivering the highest health, safety, environmental and well-being standards.
As part of this role, you will deliver excellent customer service.
Do you have experience of working with design houses and able to manage design and multiple interfaces?
If you can answer yes to some or all of these then we want to hear from you!
Qualifications / Training:
You will preferably hold a Degree, HNC or HND qualified in a relevant field for construction, engineering, project management or similar.
Do you have SMSTS?
You will need to hold an Institute of Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent to be successful in this role. Please still apply if you are working towards this!
