Job DescriptionWe a compact enterprise based in High Wycombe, strategically positioned between London and Oxford. We specialise in the process of chemical vapour deposition (CVD). CVD is a niche-market coating technology that is widely used across many different market sectors such as aircraft, space, energy and semiconductors.The company has two core divisions.The first is developing new coating processes through research and development programmes, catering to both commercial partners and government projects. It also works to scale up these processes.The second division is engaged in manufacturing industrial CVD equipment for global distribution. This encompasses the entire process from design and construction to commissioning of coating systems for diverse industries, spanning locations worldwide. We have established collaborative partnerships with equipment manufacturers in Europe, the USA, and India, all centred around its cutting-edge coating technologies.We are currently seeking a highly capable and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving innovation and maintaining our commitment to excellence.Qualifications and/or Experience DesiredEssential:Scientific education to 'A' level or equivalent.Minimum of 1-2 year's project management experience.Excellent knowledge of MS Project and best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative teamenvironment.Effective communication skills and the ability to present technicalinformation clearly to diverse audiences.Experience with CE marking of machinery.Desirable:Further scientific or engineering qualification.Knowledge of APM or Prince2.Experience in either the high-tech or vacuum industry.Familiarity with quality management methodologies and/or ISO9001compliance to UKAS standards.Knowledge of CAD (Solidworks and/or Autocad),Nature of the workAs a project manager, your responsibility will be spearheading the design, development, build and installation of our CVD Equipment.Key Responsibilities:Project Management:- Plan, budget, oversee, and document all phases of specific projects. - Ensure adherence to quality procedures and timely project delivery.Coordination of Equipment Assembly and Installation:- Oversee & coordinate design and specification of CVD equipment.- Oversee & coordinate procurement of components for CVDequipment.- Coordinate the assembly and installation of new equipment.- Travel to customer sites worldwide for equipment installation.Quality Management:- Maintain alignment with the ISO9001 Quality ManagementProgramme.- Lead the implementation of process enhancements in accordancewith CE & UKAS standards.This is primarily a production post but involvement in most areas of company activity is foreseen.Start Date LocationImmediately.High Wycombe.
