A Snapshot of Your Day
You will be Siemens Energy's Project lead and Single Point of Contact for one or multiple of our key power generation customers in the UK. In this role you will be expected to lead multi-million pound service projects on our Gas Services product line. Gas Services products include our Large Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Generator and synchronous condenser fleet.
The Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA) you are managing on Siemens Energy's behalf will consist or regular client management, outage planning, delivery and close out throughout the lifetime of the LTSA. A reasonable amount of travel will be expected to visit site and the SE outage team with this role during the outage periods. Out of outage the role will be predominately based in our Newcastle office with a healthy amount of flexible working (Working from home) when required.
In this role you will be expected to ensure the LTSA project is managed efficiently with a heavy focus on Time, Cost, Quality and most importantly Safety. Be involved in and occasionally lead technical discussions on Power Generation units up to 600MW.

How You will Make an Impact
Managing the scope, specification, time, cost, quality, risk & resource aspects of the project.
Manage the commercial aspects to ensure that the financial objectives of the project are achieved.
Identification of tender/contract scope.
Specify, control and deliver contract specific quality assurance requirements.
Purchase parts, raw material and sub-contract processes.
Co-ordinate, integrate and motivate the project team and project participants to ensure successful project execution. Leading an indirect team of Project Engineers, Field Service and Support Functions in the delivery of project scope.
Monitor and review the status of the project, identify issues and develop solutions to fulfil contract obligations.
Lead and Promote a responsible health, safety & environment culture.
Manage the customer interface to maintain a good working relationship consistent with the Company's interests.
What You Bring
Educated to degree level in relevant engineering or commercial discipline
Recognised formal PM qualification such as IPMA Level C, APMP or equivalent
Knowledge and / or experience of the power generation market sector.
Experience in an engineering business related to hardware supply or service contract provision, including subcontractor management.
Experience of large rotating equipment and systems (Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and Generators - up to 600MW) would be advantageous.
Self-motivated, flexible and collaborative team worker
