People who enjoy finding new ways to solve problems and get things done!Clancy are seeking a Project Manager to take a leading role in a dynamic and growing delivery team on our Southern Water contract.The Role:Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a range of sewer and water Civil and MEICA projects from award stage through to design, construction and handover.With experience of successfully overseeing and completing Civil and MEICA projects within the utilities industry, you’ll take a technical lead on MEICA subjects withing a multi-disciplined delivery team.Clancy aim to provide a fully integrated service, covering optioneering through to design, construction and commissioning. Awarded projects are varied and will involve MEICA installations as well as traditional civils and innovative trenchless solutions and gravity and pumped pipelines.As part of a growing team, you’ll assist with creating a streamlined and efficient design and delivery process for the benefit of our MEICA projects.Here are some of the activities you will be involved with...• Management of project delivery outputs including programme, commercial, health safety, environmental performance and progress.• Ensure compliance with HSEQ Legislation and CDM regulations.Responsible for the day to day management of multiple concurrent projects to ensure the successful delivery of the project against the project KPI's.To ensure compliance with all company safety, environmental and quality systems.Liaise with client's staff to ensure KPI's are met or exceeded within budget constraintsFollow contract processes and procedures (typically NEC4)Assisting with the preparation of tender quotations, project prices and compensation event estimates.Production of project programmes in conjunction with Project Planner.Ascertain preliminary and detailed design/project requirements and solutionsCo-ordinate and liaise with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, in-house functions, site installations and construction teamsAttend and play an active role internal and client review and progress meetingsAttend site visits/meetings.Ensure all contract documentation are prepared in compliance with the client specifications and timescales.We'd love to hear from you if you can demonstrate...An industry applicable ONC/HNC/B.Eng or NVQ equivalent in a mechanical or electrical discipline.A CSCS card and demonstrable experience of working in a utilities environment, preferably sewer or water.An excellent communicator and IOSH or CITB 5 Day Site Safety Management (SMSTS) are preferred but not essential.If this sounds like you, then apply today!Our CompanyEvery day we work smarter, greener and use our imaginations.Our purpose at Clancy is simple - we make life better for everyone’s growing families.
