Company & Project: An ambitious and forward thinking project management consultancy operating in the Higher Education, Science, Commercial and Industrial sectors throughout Bedfordshire are seeking to recruit an experienced and talented Project Manager.
Our client has an exceptional project list already secured for the next 12 months and they are looking for a Project Manager to join their team working on a key account and lead projects c�5m in value for their prestigious and repeat clients.
This is a very rare opportunity as not only is the role to work for a well thought of consultant, but also within that role you will be working on key projects for an established renowned end-client - offering an excellent career move for the successful Project Manager to develop their project portfolio and network.
Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility managing projects from concept to completion, working both independently and as part of a larger team. You will be responsible for working closely with the end-client from early project stages through contract administration, construction management and completion.
You will be expected to assist in developing relationships, managing current clients, developing more junior colleagues and contributing overall to the team dynamic. The office is currently experiencing a period of growth due to significant project wins.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience working for a consultancy or developer or technical practice.
- 3-5years+ post graduate experience with either a desire to achieve chartered status in your professional field, or be already on that pathway.
- Exceptional client facing skills/communication skills and able to lead and organise meetings.
- Ideally from a Project Management, Quantity Surveying or Engineering background.
- Experience working on construction projects to �1m+ in single value.
- Previous Roles: Project Manager OR Intermediate Project Manager OR
Assistant Project Manager.
Qualifications & Skills: Degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (or comparable qualification).
