Project Manager - Secure Communications

My client is looking for a Project Management Secure Communications to join on them on a 12-month contract. You will lead the delivery phase of complex military satellite communications projects and provide project initiation and planning expertise in the associated business winning campaigns.
Role: Project Management Secure Communications
Pay: �60 per hour Umbrella, Inside IR35
Location: Portsmouth
Contract: 12 Months - 37 hours per week Monday - Friday
Security Clearance: Current Security Clearance

Main Responsibilities
  • Project Initiation
  • Project Planning
  • Project Execution
  • Project Monitoring Controlling, Closing of projects
  • Delivering complex secure communications infrastructure and services.
  • Managing projects in accordance with the Airbus project lifecycle standards & accountable for the quality, cost and schedule performance of the project


Required Skills

  • A degree or equivalent in project management, business management, or a relevant engineering discipline.
  • A good understanding of the PMI Project Management body of knowledge.
  • A basic understanding of AGILE project management.
  • At least five years' experience of approving initial briefs/baselines, delivering projects and supporting bids in an engineering environment. Ideally, this will be the communications, aerospace, space or defence industries


Education & Training
Essential

  • Strong experience in a similar role


Desirable

  • A good technical background to support your project management role
  • STEM degree or equivalent
  • PMI/PMP certification
