About our Team The Project Management team was formed from a need for a single point of contact to manage large/complex cross-function development projects working across all business functions and the Technology team. The first Project Manager joined in July 2022 and the team has grown each year. Initially, the team reported into the Product and Analytics function, in November 2022 the team moved to the Operations function to expand the footprint of project management across the business. Projects span different functions providing opportunities to meet and work with diverse and inclusive teams across the business. A project management capability has been established with comprehensive resources to support Project Managers. Project managers are encouraged in maturing their project management maturity using frameworks from leading project management organisations. About the RoleICIS supports its customers in reducing the complexity of trading in volatile commodity markets through data driven insights. This role in the Operations group is responsible for managing the business activities for digital and data development projects from inception to launch. This role requires applicants with experience managing the business aspects of website, back-end content creation systems, data engineering and data management working closely with the product, data operations, editorial and technology teams to evolve leading and efficient capabilities to deliver digital products and data to meet customers' needs. The Project Manager will be instrumental in managing projects in a large high-profile programme reporting to senior leaders. Good communication, co-ordination and planning skills are required. This role does not have direct reports and is not required to manage development teams. The applicant must be based in the UK.ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with cross functional stakeholders to produce project plans to ensure cross functional alignment and optimization of resources.Ensuring ownership and accountability of project deliverables.Ensuring execution team’s priorities are clear and acknowledged, issues are resolved, and activities coordinated.Ensuring effective project governance is implemented.Managing the project through the discovery, development and launch phases.Scheduling regular project review meetings with key stakeholders, drive issue resolution and communicate meeting outcomes and actions.Managing project risks and issues and escalate where necessary.RequirementsDemonstrate understanding of agile development methodology and technical systems architecture development and deliveryDemonstrable experience planning and managing various sized projects and duration preferably in one organisationHolds team members accountable for project deliverablesDelivery of website and back-end systemsGood understanding of technology project developmentGood understanding of data types, quality and structuresCross functional team management with stakeholder groups based in different locations and working in a hybrid office and home modelPresenting information in a concise and effective manner to stakeholder groups and senior managementProactive management of risks and issues, and implements mitigating actionsPrince2 or similar project management qualification Learn more about the LexisNexis Risk team and how we work
