Project Manager - Herefordshire

Experienced/ambitious Project Manager required to run a large section of works on a major �140m new build industrial/manufacturing project in Herefordshire, working with a leading Tier 1 main contractor.

The project comprises 5 large steel framed building within a secure area. The project is secured and has started on site, with this new phase commencing on site in the summer.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for managing your section of the project through the construction phase with keen focus on the programming of works and ensuring that work activities proceed safely on site to the specified quality. Your will manage a small construction team of Site and Senior Site Manger.

You will lead your project team holding ultimate responsibility for the smooth and timely progress of construction on site, health & safety, quality control, plus coordination with other teams.

You be one of several Project Managers responsible for the various buildings which comprise the overall scheme.

This opportunity is with a Tier 1 national main contractor, with a turnover in excess of �400m, with secured workload in the commercial, industrial, defence, aviation and healthcare in the broader South West.

You will be an experienced Project Manager or Senior Site Manager ready to step up, with a proven track record within a major contracting organisation, able to deliver D&B schemes in the range of �20m-�50m in value.

Ideally experience of large industrial or similar steel framed building would be advantageous. The form of contract is NEC, so some experience of knowledge of this will also be useful.
