Role Description The Project Manager (PM) plays a key role in ensuring successful delivery of projects for FPC Life Sciences division and our clients. As a part of the FPC Project Management Team within FPC Life Sciences, the PM will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects throughout their lifecycle. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within scope, schedule, and budget.The Project Manager will represent FPC in dealings with clients, partners, and suppliers, maintaining a high level of professionalism, technical expertise, and ethical conduct. They will contribute to the growth and development of the Project Management Team within the Life Sciences Division and support FPC's overall business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
Identify project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, partners, and suppliers
Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of project progress
Manage project changes and scope creep
Support the development and improvement of project management processes and methodologies
Mentor and train junior project management staff
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in project management
Experience and QualificationsThe Project Manager should possess the following experience and qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of project management experience Experience of working within Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals
Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams
Experience in client management and stakeholder engagement
Proficiency in project management software and tools
PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable
