Therefore, a Technical Directorate is being created, responsible for the engineering disciplines and technical expertise required to deliver the different engineering projects through integrated teams in EPR-E.A key output HPC Building Teams, is the EPR-E Master 3D Model. Under the Extended Enterprise project, the 3D Models produced by three Execution Designers (covering part of the Piping, HVAC & Electrical scopes), are being integrated into the EPR-E Master 3D Model. This will allow their design to be visualised alongside EPR-E scope and allow more co-activity issues to be resolved prior to installation on site.For the HPC project, we are currently looking to recruit for the role of Project Manager – Extended Enterprise.As Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with several of the below listed activities depending on the job/project requirements and the competences and experience:Manage the deployment of the Piping Execution Designer, having a holistic view of - Technical tests - Coactivity open points - Contractual aspects - Change Management - Reintegration by Bilfinger process and test - Deployment coordinationEnsure the transfer of HVAC Execution Designer scope is “reintegrated” into the EPR-E Master 3D ModelContinuous improvement of engineering sequence, once Execution Designers are working in the EPR-E Master 3D ModelWorking with Model Managers, to ensure Execution Designers are complying with modelling rules, and working to the expected qualityCost and budget managementProfileTo be considered, the following qualifications, skills and experience are essential:Degree qualified in appropriate technical disciplineComfortable and confident to highlight issues and bring a wide range of stakeholders together to find pragmatic resolutions that satisfy all stakeholders, balancing the needs across the HPC integrated team.Embraces a challenging technical environment with multiple and urgent demandsAbility to seek clarification from multiple stakeholders in order to prioritize, paying attention to the wider context and bigger picture to inform their decisions to minimize schedule and cost implicationsExperience in one or several areas of engineering: Layout,HVAC, Piping, Electrical, mechanical, Contracts, Safety etc. Previous experience working with 3D design software (e.g. Navisworks, AutoCAD, PDMS and/or E3D)- desirableKnowledge and understanding of HVAC, Piping & general layout rules for an industrial project - desirablePrevious nuclear experience – highly advantageousThis position will be based at our Aztec West offices in Bristol (minimum 3 days in the office), with occasional travel to FranceAt EDF we’re dedicated to offering flexible benefits that support our people across all aspects of their lives.
