Project Manager - Design and Development
Role Overview:
As a key member of the capital delivery project management team on this major construction scheme, you will be instrumental in implementing the buildings and infrastructure programs vital for supporting our project. We are seeking talented individuals for various roles, all of which require a blend of strong operational capability and commercial acumen. If you have a passion for delivering complex projects while fostering safety, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage capital delivery projects from requirements definition to facility readiness, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and cost control.
-Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a safety culture and ensuring excellent health and safety performance.
-Build strong relationships with leadership teams and stakeholders to align delivery with organizational needs.
-Support planning activities, including financial and resource planning, with key stakeholders.
-Ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and corporate governance requirements.
-Monitor project performance, make timely decisions, and manage risks and issues effectively.
-Facilitate communication with stakeholders, project teams, and contractors.
-Secure necessary permits, licenses, and consents for project delivery.
-Drive continuous improvement through evaluation and implementation of lessons learned.
Minimum Criteria:
-Degree level education or equivalent in a relevant subject.
-Professional qualification in program/project management or related discipline.
-Experience in clean room and/or dry room technical projects.
-Experience in high-tech manufacturing, chemical process, or relevant facilities.
-Track record of successful delivery on large-scale building and infrastructure programs.
Key Criteria:
-Chartered or Professional Engineer preferred.
-Experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced business and project environment.
-Technical understanding of building and infrastructure design and construction.
-Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
-Excellent project planning, budgeting, and management abilities.
-Resilient, enthusiastic, and results-oriented with strong leadership capabilities.
-Ability to challenge existing thinking and find innovative solutions.
-Commitment to delivering quality and consistency in a demanding environment.
