Position: Project Manager (clean & waste water treatment)Location: BirminghamContact: Aaron TaylorCompany:A leading tier 1 with a designated arm dedicated to providing innovative solutions in the water treatment industry. With a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, they specialise in designing, building, and managing clean and waste water treatment plants across diverse environments. As they expand their operations, they're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects to in the Severn Trent region.Position Overview:As a Project Manager specialising in clean and waste water treatment plants, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various projects within your portfolio. Your expertise in water treatment processes and systems will be pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. Knowledge of the NEC (New Engineering Contract) suite of contracts is highly desirable and will be considered a significant bonus.Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning and execution of clean and waste water treatment plant projects from inception to completion.Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against established targets.Manage project risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.Conduct regular site inspections and quality assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and specifications.Foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare progress reports and communicate project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.Proven experience managing projects in the clean and waste water treatment industry.In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes, technologies, and equipment.Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, budgets, and schedules.Familiarity with the NEC suite of contracts is highly desirable.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent are preferred but not required.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, car/allowance and enhanced pension.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Flexible hybrid working.A collaborative and inclusive work environment with a focus on employee well-being and work-life balance.How to Apply:Please apply below or reach out to Aaron Taylor at Randstad for more information.Please note that Randstad carry out a large amount of work in the water and waste water industry and work a high volume of roles.
