Your Duties In This Project Lead Job Will Include

• Leading projects involving diverse technology and materials processes.
• Efficiently managing projects, including financial forecasting, technical and project risk management, quarterly review meetings with partners, technical leadership of partners and academic research activities, and organizing in-house R&D test activities.
• Balancing office work with “hands-on” workshop/laboratory assignments.
• Representing the company at conferences, meetings, and overseas exhibitions.
• Overseeing Computational Modelling (CFD, FEA) projects, conducted both in-house and by partners, ensuring thorough understanding and effective management.
• Providing support to other business functions (design, sales, and purchasing) on specialist subjects as needed.
• Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills to foster close working relationships.
• Showing a proven ability to work consistently under pressure in an R&D project environment.
• Possessing self-motivation and a drive for excellence in all endeavors.

Qualifications And Experience Required For This Project Lead Job In R&D

The ideal candidate will hold at least a degree qualification in a relevant subject such as Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, Physics or Chemical Engineering. Strong interpersonal skills are essential to cultivate relationships across all levels of the business and with external clients. Additionally, you should should demonstrate self-motivation and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Experience in leading technical projects with an R&D or Engineering focus is required, with knowledge of CFD or FEA being advantageous.
