Job Description:
Instruct, supervise, coordinate, and lead engineering activities of projects while adhering to safety, quality, time delivery, and cost criteria. Serve as the technical lead for electrical design and engineering of large energy projects. Prepare specifications, lead on deviations and clarifications, and attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs). Coordinate design activities and manage the project design budget. Oversee the design change process and ensure technical coordination of the Grid Solutions Project. Supervise and coordinate engineering activities, whether performed in-house or by delivery partners, required to execute the project.
Desired Characteristics
Engineering Degree or equivalent education/experience
Engineering Experience: Experience of Engineering activities as lead engineer in EPC type environment.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Transmission or Distribution industry is essential for effective performance in the role.
Interpersonal and Leadership Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong leadership abilities are advantageous for effectively managing multi-disciplinary teams and multiple interfaces.
Project Coordination: Demonstrated ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery.
Renewable Energy Systems: Knowledge of Renewable Energy systems is beneficial, as it may be relevant to the projects being managed.
GIS Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with GIS systems is beneficial.
