Role Overview
To design, implement and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle from conception to handover to support, ensuring all deliverables are completed to the highest quality and within time and budgetary constraints.

Responsible for day-to-day management of projects scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality, and resources
Basic Qualifications
Required
Preferably degree educated in a relevant subject plus at least one of the qualifications from the following list:
Azure Administrator Associate
Azure Security Engineer Associate
Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Modern Desktop Associate
Enterprise Administrator Expert
Identity and Access Administrator
Information Protection Administrator
Security Operations Analyst
CCNA Routing & Switching (desirable)
Project Management qualification (desirable)
Proficient in Microsoft Cloud Solutions (Azure, Microsoft 365, EMS)
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1 Presales
Undertake technical reviews of the IT infrastructure of potential new clients, capturing sufficient data to enable the business to bid for business accurately
Recommend changes in the infrastructure for existing and potential new clients to meet the client needs
Advise the sales team about the requirements to deliver proposed client projects including, likely elapsed time of the projects, input needed from the client, risks, likely scheduling
2 Project Planning
• Ensure that all projects are well planned, considering reasonable timescales to complete the work, contingency, risk planning, resource availability and client expectations
3 Project Implementation
Set clear project expectations and deliverables with the client to ensure a common understanding of the scope and metrics of the project as a baseline in accordance with the commercial agreement
Undertake technical implementation activities, either stand-alone for small projects, or as part of a team for larger projects, either on client sites or remotely from our office
Act as the main point of contact with clients on designated projects and provide regular progress reports
Following project completion, ensure that all project work is carefully and fully documented and formally handed over to the client and Service Desk
Liaise with partners and vendors to ensure that they meet the business needs, co-ordinating all activity
Manage all changes and exceptions from a logistical point of view, providing input into the Account Manager regarding commercials
Keep accurate records of time worked on projects in the time recording system
Skills and Experience
Required
Proven ability in solution design and implementation
Background in Microsoft Cloud Solutions, e.g., Azure IaaS (compute, storage, networking), Microsoft 365, EMS.
Strong understanding of virtualisation technologies and concepts
History of successful technical consulting and architecture engagements within the SME space
Good understanding of PowerShell, particularly for Azure and Microsoft 365 management
File and folder security management, including SharePoint migration and permissions
Preferable
Proven ability in pre-sales/bids or advisory
Strong understanding of Windows Server Operating Systems, Windows PowerShell, Server Virtualization
Practical knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Hyper-V, VMware
Hands-on experience of AVD, AutoPilot, Defender.
Experience using backup products and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Datto, Azure, SkyKick, Barracuda)
Migrating on-premises to Azure Cloud
Practical knowledge of Conditional Access and SSO application configuration
Experience in configuring routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, SonicWALL, HP)
