Job Responsibilities
Review client purchase orders and attachments, as well as Sales handover documentation.
Issue job instructions and liaise with internal departments and specialists to ensure completion.
Develop and monitor project schedules for effective project control.
Monitor the development of Quality Plans to maintain high standards.
Draft material, fabrication, and equipment purchase order requisitions and specifications.
Review sub-contractor bids, including technical aspects.
Distribute and review drawings and documents, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
Compile and control necessary contract variations, status reports, and shipping lists.
Liaise with clients to ensure equipment meets specifications and negotiate for additional requirements.
Manage sub-contractors to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
Collaborate with client's site management team and Construction Manager/Supervisor for contracts involving erection.
Undertake duties and responsibilities as directed by Projects Director/Project Engineering Manager.
Travel internationally for meetings with clients and suppliers.
Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications to HND/Degree level in an engineering discipline preferred.
Strong project engineering or project management background within a technical environment.
