ROLE - Project EngineerLOCATION -Burgess HillTERM - PermanentSALARY - £30,000 - £45,000 per annum dependent on experience (Please advise what you're looking for)My client designs and manufactures high precision mechanical products for a range of industries including automotive, oil and gas and the aerospace sector.The Project Engineerrole will involve:Reviewing customer requirements and standards and ensuring these are met or negotiated and prepared and attend customer meetingsHead up quality expectations and issuesWorking to budgets and creating and reporting on project timingsWorking to company processes and creation of new processes to provide efficient and effective practicesCreation and evaluation of test procedures and Identify failure modes and assist in providing solutionsMachine safety reviews and solutionsAnalysis of data to solve problems and providing common sense and fit for purpose solutionsSource and qualify new suppliersAssisting other departments in project engineering e.g. salesOccasional travel to customer and other group sitesRequired Experience:A sound understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and manufacturing processesProficient in the project management of customers, suppliers and personnelProficient in consultation and negotiation techniquesFully proficient in Microsoft Office productsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible
