Job DescriptionJOB- Project Engineer LOCATION- Near BournemouthTERM- PermanentSALARY- £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)My client is a specialist manufacturer for Aerospace and Defence industries. They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team near Bournemouth on a permanent basis. The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:2 or more years of Project Engineering experienceKnowledge of or experience working with Composites and GRP MaterialsExperienced in/knowledge of Aerospace, Defence or similar industries would be ideal but not requiredDegree qualified or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subjectPRINCE2 or a similar Project qualifications would be idealAn educational or hands-on background in EngineeringTechnical Mechanical Engineering knowledgeBe able to read engineering drawingsStrong client-facing experienceProven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budgetExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenBe able to work well individually as well as part of a teamBe flexible to travel overseas as requiredResponsibilities include:Identifying and managing full lifecycle projects, from bid generation to manufacture and deliverySuccessfully delivering projects on time and on budget Organising the supply chainProducing detailed works schedules, resource and projects plansLiaising with clients as required keeping them up to date with project progressWorking with design, purchasing and production departments Presenting project plans and reports to management Reporting progress, managing risks and responding to issuesMaintaining technical documentation as required Working in a small, multidisciplined team If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
