Job title: Project Engineer
Salary: Competitive based on experience + Company Car + travel to UK
Working: Permanent, Full time Monday to Friday 37.5 hours

Gi Group is excited to be working in partnership with a global Industrial Air Filtration manufacturing company who are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a demonstrated history of successfully overseeing projects, showcasing a strong track record in project management. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in various aspects, including procurement, installation, contractor management, and a solid understanding of legislative Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, including Risk Assessments (RA's) and Method Statements. The successful applicant will bring natural analytical abilities, strategic planning, and exceptional organisational skills to the role.
As Project Engineer for Ireland, you will be home based, with a requirement to travel to customer sites. Expected travel is circa 25% of time, i.e., 1 week per Month. You will be expected to visit Leicester to spend time with the wider Projects team every month and support UK projects as and when required.
Key responsibilities for Project Engineer:
Conduct and manage assigned projects for first fit equipment orders, from intake to completion and through the warranty period.
Guarantee successful completion of projects from quotation stage to project delivery, in agreement with customer specifications, technical requirements, budgeted costs, timelines and financial/contractual conditions.
Work within the team to troubleshoot and provide support to analyze the customer queries.
Assist in putting together proposals and organizing onsite technical solutions and actions.
Liaise with Sales, Operations and Supply Chain for assigned project responsibilities.
Experience for the Project Engineer:
Proficient user of AutoCAD software P601 and P602 advantageous
Natural analytical planning and organizational skills
Full UK Driving License
Use standard office software (MS Office, Project Excel)
Experience with 3D SolidWorks would be beneficial
Strong IT skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
