Project Engineer | up to £40,000 | Near ChelmsfordJonothan Bosworth are working with their newest client; a leading provider of managed IT services and support, based near Chelmsford, as they look for a Project Engineer with excellent customer services skills, the right technical aptitude and a desire to continue to deliver outstanding service and support.THE BASICS:The ideal Project Engineer will provide customers with a professional project delivery service; working on a wide variety of IT projects, accountable for ensuring projects are completed within the planned schedule and within budget.Any Project Engineer that has managed Office 365 implementations and migrations, and core infrastructure upgrades and installations, coupled with hands on experience around the Virtualisation of a customer’s existing environment, including migrations from VMware to Hyper-V, network upgrades and firewall set ups are going to be of major interest to us.THE SKILLS:We are looking for individuals with solid technical and customer services skills as well as applied knowledge of configuring, supporting and maintaining a range of technologies from multiple vendors, end-user computing: Microsoft and Apple operating systems, plus mobile device management systems.Extensive working knowledge around: Messaging & Collaboration: Exchange, Skype for Business, SharePoint and other Office 365 applications; Servers & Virtualisation: Microsoft Operating Systems, UNIX, Linux and OS-X, Hyper-V, VMware, Parallels and Veeam; Storage & Data-Security: NAS / SAN / Backup technologies and Anti-virus and Anti-malware systems; Cloud Services: Microsoft Azure and AWS; Network Services: SonicWALL and CISCO & Web Services: SSL certificates, Apache, PHP, MySQL, FTP will result in an immediate interview request.THE CONCLUSION:Engineers who can support the business in maintaining their Microsoft Gold Partnership status by keeping up-to-date with the latest Microsoft certifications and can identify trends to support with the effective management of third party vendors and suppliers, will be desirable.If you are a strong communicator; pro-active and experienced in implementing software, network and hardware projects and able to work independently to establish and maintain partnerships with others through effective interpersonal skills, with an innate ability to provide training and guidance to service desk staff and have an interest in how ICT can be used to improve our customer’s businesses, we would like to hear from you TODAYPlease contact Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists for more information.
