Project Engineer

Manpower is recruiting a Project Engineer with our client who are a successful FMCG food producer in Co Armagh.

The company have been steadily growing and are investing in their production equipment, with a range of new projects coming up.

Core working hours will be Monday to Friday, there may be some requirement to work outside of this depending on project needs.

This would be a great opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer who has also developed Project experience in a production/ FMCG setting.

As the Project Engineer you will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and other stakeholders, driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing CAPEX projects across the engineering department. You'll be responsible for leading in a range of areas such as equipment performance and improvement, new installations, managing suppliers and contractors, ensuring projects are completed successfully and positively impacting performance.

What we are looking for

• Experience delivering projects such as new installs and machine upgrades within a production or FMCG setting
• Extensive maintenance engineering experience in production/ FMCG
• Strong Electrical knowledge, PLC's, control systems and automation
• A strong communicator who can work across teams
• Can manage project timelines and budgets
