Project Engineer - Building Services
A market-Leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering business is looking for an Electrical or Mechanical Project Engineer for an office-based role in Essex. Suitable for Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Projects Engineers or Design Engineers with electrical or mechanical qualifications and experience within building services
Responsibilities :
The role will involve all aspects of electrical or mechanical engineering of projects, from enquiry or conception stage through to completion, including (but not limited to):
Developing electrical services designs and production of technical documentation including working drawings, schematics, installation detail drawings, technical submittals, supporting design calculations etc, to a level of detail required for site installation
Estimating and pricing enquiries and dealing with tender submissions
Liaising with clients, main contractors and/or design teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
Co-ordinating services designs and requirements with the mechanical division and other external contractors
Requirements :
Educated to a minimum of HNC level in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, building services or equivalent related discipline
Minimum of three years’ work experience in a similar role and/or environment
Package:
Salary £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
Progression opportunities to Project Manager
Office-based with the option for hybrid working
