Business Unit Director - Project Management Data centre projects - London
The company: A data centre specialist owner representative / project management consultancy with a proven track record delivering some of the largest data centre projects in Europe. They work with the leading technology clients in the sector who are developing new facilities for the increasing demand from AI and HPC computing.
Could this role be for you? As the business unit director you will be responsible for the development of a project management division and for ensuring the successful delivery of a number of data centre projects. You will be accountable for developing relationships with data centre operators across Europe, and for ensuring deliverables are achieved for any secured customers. You will be required to work very closely with the client and therefore it is essential you have previous client facing skills within a blue chip environment. It is essential that you have previously held a project director (or similar) position on a major data centre construction project, alongside having established relationships with data centre operators.
Candidate requirements:
A proven track record delivering major data centre projects.
Client representative capability and experience.
Major project experience – £20m+
Experience of projects from design through to commissioning.
Excellent client facing skills.
Educated to HNC or above in electrical engineering or building services.
