PROJECT DIRECTOR - DATA CENTRES & LIFE SCIENCES

Our client is a highly reputable Building Contractor with a track record of delivering Major projects and complex mixed used development schemes throughout the UK and Ireland.

To support their ongoing success and commitment to the Data Centre / Hi Tech Life Sciences sector in the UK / South West, they are now seeking an experienced Project Director to join the team.

 The successful candidate will ideally have the following experience and abilities:-

• Minimum of 15 - 20 years  with a recognised Building Contractor


• Experience of complex High value Data Centre / Life Science Projects.


• Business Development, pre- construction input and design management.


• Post contract delivery of individual projects & developments ideally ranging from £50 - £150M.


• Management of site production & technical staff


• Ability to relate well to design teams and client’s


• Commercial awareness to minimise risk to margin


• Control and reporting on Health & Safety, Quality criteria


• Knowledge of and relationship with the local supply chain and Design teams

A strong technical background in M&E Services and understanding of bespoke installations within Data Centres will be of particular interest.

As an individual you must also possess the correct personality, style and presence which will allow you to relate credibly with internal colleagues and external customers alike.
