Job Description
The ideal candidate will have high-level attention to detail, project management across
multiple stakeholders and time zones, flexibility with numerous tracking platforms and sheets, and a keen on improvement processes and solutions. Prior experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred with a plus in working in the Telco/Infrastructure field and managing external vendors and data centers.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Project and Logistics Coordination
· Manage Region Projects/Tickets and work with cross-functional teams and vendors to
unblock issues
· Understand the status of assigned region engineer's projects and update its' tickets
regularly
· Hosts weekly/bi-weekly Logistics related meetings with stakeholders to ensure projects
are moving along and communicate any risks/blockers to stakeholders
· Provide a tracker/dashboard that shows the progress of each project with the pending task
· Take meeting notes and share them with stakeholders
· Unify Ticketing tracking for all requests across different vendors and regions
· Manage CDN site accuracy on our internal database and update changes accordingly
· Lead new Initiative and Project Meetings for Process and Device Improvements
· Host project wrap-up meetings
· Coordinate and manage external vendor troubleshooting calls and follow-up tasks
Data Accuracy
· Inventory Database Improvement Strategy
· Spares Inventory database
· Create a plan for a healthy amount of spares at each site/warehouse and trigger a request for additional spares when it reaches a certain threshold
· Raise Site and Vendor Remote Hands to perform site audits when needed
· Update CDP/Internal documents when requested
· Ad-Hoc Tasks
· Have a ticketing system for tracking all requests (JIRA)
· Associate project-related shipment tickets with TPM project tickets and keep them updated
· Work with SCM, equipment vendors, and data centers to manage delivery dates and time windows
· Process Improvement Support
Vendor Support
· Initial POC for all Vendor Queries relating to shipment, access, and
chats/communications
· Create Colocation of Inbound/Outbound Shipments and track Deliveries
· Work with SCM/Planning to update and add equipment into CMDB - How to receive
servers in Twinkle AMS
· Schedule onsite technicians and provide site access requests for all ad-hoc/scheduled
activities
· Ensure the ACL list is up to date.
· Submit Vendor Remote Hands Requests to support physical works on-site
· Perform regular audits for all site portals, inventory, and hours performed by vendors
· Schedule vendors for ERAD for Reverse logistics and oversee the activities
· QBR for all vendors
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum Associate's College Degree required
2+ years in the Logistics field working with internal and external stakeholders to move projects and/or shipments around
Experience in Telecommunications/CDN/Datacenter related environment strongly preferred
Proactive, Detail Oriented, and open to Flexible Working Hours if needed
Embraces challenges and takes initiative in solving issues
Working knowledge using JIRA and/or related issue-tracking software
