This thriving software company are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to work with clients and report in to the Technical Director. They have a team of 12 ERP Consultants doing implementation and delivery of ERP projects. The role is hybrid, with three days working from home and two in their offices, one of which is located between Southampton and Winchester, and the other is near Manchester. So you will need to be able to commute to one of those areas, twice a week. A wide salary range is on offer, from £35k to £50k, based on experience.
You have experience working as a Project Coordinator on an ERP project and have had exposure to the different business departments, so you understand how they work. So previous ERP project experience that has touched on things like finance, manufacturing, distribution & warehousing, or e-commerce is required. The job would suit a very organised, detail oriented, cheerful individual who has worked with ERP software and is good at having lots of tasks going simultaneously and juggling many balls at once. You will have been involved in at least one ERP project.
This role is to work for the Technical Director tracking the ongoing projects. It is all about keeping track of the projects in terms of time lines and budgets, being aware of what days have been used, make sure invoicing is up to date and keep an overall view on the progress of each project. You will hold a weekly ½ hour session with every client covering issues review, resources plan, status of the budget, looking at invoicing and change request forms, and will report your findings back to the Technical Director, and liaise with the developers and consultants regarding changes required.
You will be helping the consultants by scheduling their work, booking meetings, and chasing up paperwork from clients, making their lives easier. The job could lead into full a full project manager role or into consultancy and implementation.
As Project Coordinator, you will get involved with all methodologies such as Agile and Scrum and Waterfall, and the company also use their own project management methodology, so experience of structured methods would be valuable.
This is a mid-sized, dynamic, and growing software company, with a 30-year track record, focused solely on selling, implementing, and supporting a mid-range versatile and flexible solution. Their leading ERP solution which can be delivered on premise or hosted in the cloud, covers inventory, accounting, CRM, purchasing, traceability, WMS, HR, fleet management, shipments, billing, budgeting and more. They have gone from strength to strength and if you join this company, you will learn a recognised world class ERP solution, and work with a busy team of talented pre-sales people, implementation consultants and project managers, on projects from 10 - 50 man-days.
You will gain a very good understanding of how businesses work, and the whole implementation process with each client. If the issues are around the functionality of the solution and what is or is not included, then you would pass that back to the ERP Consultants. This is a busy, sometimes pressurised job with lots of responsibility and you will build close relationships with the whole consulting team and the clients.
