Project Controls Manager

TH Daniels Global Executive Search & Selection work globally with an established portfolio of clients providing best in class Executive Search results. We have partnered with a leading Warehouse Automation organisation to recruit for a Project Controls Manager to manage planning, coordination, and execution of project controls activities throughout the project lifecycle. The position will be based in the UK.
Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining project schedules using various software tools.
Communicating and coordinating with project stakeholders to adhere to project timelines and check-points.
Stay on top of project schedules, adjusting where necessary as a result of deviations from the initial plan.
Managing cost control, establishing budgets & cost baselines; tracking expenditures; carrying out variance analyses; and reviewing and confirming change orders.
Implement EVM methodologies to measure and analyze project performance against planned objectives, generating reports and dashboards to communicate status and forecasts to stakeholders.
Identify assess, and mitigate project risks, developing strategies and contingency plans to minimize disruptions, while regularly updating and communicating risk status to project teams and stakeholders.
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of project documentation through controlled processes, maintaining version control and facilitating reviews among stakeholders.
Prepare and present regular project performance reports, communicating schedule progress, cost performance, and KPIs to project sponsors and senior management.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years Warehouse Automation/Material Handling experience.
Able to travel to Europe.
Experience working across large projects for key clients.
