Their portfolio includes bespoke housing, high-spec penthouses, high-end hotels, commercial projects and small residential homes on listed/heritage buildings.Due to continued success and repeat clients, my client is now looking for Project Architects or Experienced Part II Architectural Assistants with listed building/heritage experience.Role & ResponsibilitiesWork on a variety of high-end residential mews properties, town houses and one-off apartments/penthouses, plus large apartment buildings and mixed-use schemes ranging from £1m to £40m in construction valueWork on projects throughout all RIBA stagesPrepare and develop drawings, models and images, and other documents related to designWork within a small project teamUse Revit / AutoCAD on a daily basisSupervise more junior team membersReport to Seniors and Directors.Required Skills & ExperienceQualified as an Architect or Part II with a few years of experienceBe confident in delivering projectsExperience working on projects in a UK practiceExcellent graphic skills and 3D design ability - using InDesign, Photoshop and SketchUp, and other rendering softwareExperience working on bespoke high-end properties, mews houses, apartments/hospitality/heritage projects is essentialAble to demonstrate work that is all yours in a well-presented portfolioStrong design skillsIdeally, you will have worked in a small to medium-sized practice specialising in bespoke projectsCare and attention to detail involved in delivering the scheme or work packagesIdeally have experience working through all RIBA stages of a small, beautifully crafted project within high-end residentialA proficient user of AutoCAD, and must have used on live projects within the UKRevit is highly desirableBe presentable and confident with both client and contractor-facing responsibilitiesExcellent English, both written and verbal + eligible to work in the UK.What you get back£40,000 - £60,000 DOEPension scheme - 4% contribution from companyLife assurance of 4 times salaryPermanent health insurance for long term sicknessDiscretionary profit share bonus payment20 days' annual leave rising to 25 days with service in addition to UK public and bank holidaysDiscretionary 3 days' paid holiday in addition to the basic entitlement to cover Christmas closureCore office hours policy (10:00 - 4:30) providing flexibility at either end of the dayFlexible working arrangementsGreen bike scheme, free eye tests, and annual flu vaccinationsConfidential Employee Assistance ProgrammeRIBA membership fees paid for all qualified staffComprehensive programme of in-house CPD seminars and 1 day's personal CPD provision per yearFinancial support for course fees and additional study leave for professional examsRegular creative review sessions and classes such as Drawing GymActive involvement in achieving reductions in our carbon emissions through Planet MarkCompany membership of the NLA with free access to eventsAnnual office trips to international and UK locationsSocial and sports e.g. netball, softball, running, social evenings, drinks out, etcKitchen, showers, and secure, covered cycle storage facilities.ApplyIf you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
