Project Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Accountant to join a global design and construction business. Supporting the EMEA Finance team with the financial reporting and tracking of projects across the region. Client DetailsOur client is leader in the office design and construction space, working with some of the most well-known companies in the world. Their expertise has a global reach with offices in London, New York, New Zealand and more. This role is a hybrid role with 3 days a week based from their office in the City of London. DescriptionThe Project Accountant will be responsible for the following: Prepare and manage project budgetsTrack project costs and compare them with budgetsConduct project profitability analysisTimely closing of WIP and investigating variancesManage client billing processPrepare financial reports for managementCollaborate with project managers and other project stakeholdersEnsure compliance with company policies and financial regulationsContinually improve financial processes related to property projectsAssist in the preparation of yearly forecasts ProfileA successful Project Accountant should have:A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldACCA/CIMA Part-qualified Proven experience in Project Accounting role within the construction industryPrevious business partnering experience Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.Job OfferThe successful candidate will be entitled to the competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience, along with these other benefits: Discretionary bonus Study Support Hybrid working Career progression and development
