Sheridan Maine is currently seeking a diligent and experienced Project Accountant to join our client's dynamic team in Dorchester. Our client is a leading services business, and this role will play a crucial part in supporting a key business unit by providing accurate and timely financial information and advice.
Key responsibilities of the Project Accountant:
Management Accounting: Prepare comprehensive management accounts, analysis, and commentary to provide valuable insights into the financial performance of projects.
Monthly Project Packs: Compile and present monthly project packs for management reviews, ensuring all relevant financial data is accurately represented.
Invoicing: Raise invoices in accordance with the contract terms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Client Cost Statements: Produce monthly client cost statements, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.
The successful Project Accountant:
Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience.
Strong background in project or long-term contract accounting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
