Project Accountant

Robert Half are delighted to partner with a manufacturing business, based in Avonmouth to recruit an interim dynamic Project Accountant for an exciting project. In this role, you'll spearhead an in-depth interrogation of ledger postings and identifying root causes of miscoding. You'll review invoice processing to mitigate control risks and ensure transactional accuracy, implementing templates for accruals and prepayments.

£320 - £380pd (Via Umbrella)
Hybrid working
- 1/2 day per week in Avonmouth.
You will be responsible for:
Conduct an in-depth examination of ledger postings
Identify root causes of miscoding and ensure proper utilisation of Procurement Categories by the site team
Review the volume of invoices processed outside of the 3-way match to mitigate control risks
Address any additional observations or adjustments necessary to ensure transactional data accuracy from the outset.
Implement a standardised template for accruals and prepayments to ensure completeness of AP and AR ledger postings up to GL close stage.
