About Our Client A new opportunity for an experienced Project Accountant to join a well known, successful business based in Crawley.
Job DescriptionForecasting - Completion of the monthly forecast, proposal of reasonable adjustments and submissionMonthly Reporting - Reconciliations with SAP, variance analysis vs budget and forecastAd hoc Models, Reports and CalculationsCost Model - maintenance, reconciliation with current budget/forecast, raising of variances with the Commercial Manager for approval to changeHedging and hedge accounting of all foreign currency exposures on projects. Ensuring that effects are appropriately forecast and unwound at correct timeMonthly Financial Review meeting preparation and presentationWorkflow & GRIR (Goods receipt/Invoice receipt) - Clearance, review and clearance of aged itemsPMs. Monthly PSR (project status review) update prior comments update and profit bridgeMonth end - full month end close (including postings, accruals, provisions, raising of issues with CPM (Commercial Project Manager)Balance sheet reconciliation - monthly report per necessary G/L (general ledger)Raising of Invoicing & payment of supplier invoicing The Successful ApplicantStudying towards an accountancy qualification ( Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent with relevant experience in a project-based industryKnowledge and experience using SAP Excellent accounting skills with ability to demonstrate understanding and interpretation of key financialstatementsMicrosoft Office experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint skillsAbility to demonstrate initiative with flexible and proactive approach to work as this role will involveworking independentlyExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills What's on Offer Project Accountant Salary up to £45,000 plus bonus Additional benefits
