Project Accountant

Project Accountant - Leeds/ hybrid, full time, permanent - Salary DOE. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified Project Accountant to join a small but highly effective team in Leeds. Our client are a reputable and growing multi-disciplinary principal and main contractor offering a full turnkey solutions for HV and electrical bias work across the UK. We are looking for a candidate that has some experience working within the main contractor/ major infrastructure, high voltage, construction or similar. Experience with CIS payments is also advantageous. The successful candidate will be a key player in the Accounting & Finance department, making a significant contribution to the team and company performance.Preparing monthly management accounts and financial statementsAssisting with budgeting and forecasting activitiesEnsuring compliance with accounting standards and regulationsCollaborating with other departments to improve financial processesAnalysing financial data and preparing reports for managementContributing to the development of the company's financial strategySupporting internal and external auditsA successful Management Accountant should have:A professional accounting qualificationSolid knowledge of accounting principles and regulationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesProficiency in financial software and Microsoft OfficeFurther details of the position to be discussed with the recruiter and at interview stage.
