Duties of the Project Accountant role will include: -
- Support the Management Accounts function
- Streamlining existing finance month end processes
- Creating processes for new finance workflows/requirements
- Working with Internal Audit to understand key risks and exposures and ensure these are mitigated where possible when improving/devising new processes
- Integrating companies into group finance software
- Working with external finance teams to gain a full understanding of the accounts, lead finance integration and support first audit post integration
- Working with I.T to develop “detect and protect” controls around system data to ensure robust accurate reporting
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following skills and experiences: -
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified with a minimum of 1 years’ experience.
- Driven and focused at achieving goals within a deadline
- Can work independently and with multiple stakeholders
- Analytical minded
- Excited by new challenges and creating new processes
