Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Accountant, your role will be to ensure the financial success of our client's projects.

You will:

  • Oversee project accounting, with a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Collaborate across the business to understand project costs, revenues, and profitability
  • Provide financial guidance to project managers, advising on business decisions to ensure project successes.
  • Monitor project cash flows, reviewing against budgetary and identifying potential cost saving opportunities.
  • Conduct regular reviews to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations, with detailed financial insights

Key Skills for this role will include:

  • Proven exposure and experience in project accounting
  • Strong knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
  • Capable of analysing financial data and presenting your findings to non-finance and finance people.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be beneficial
  • A background in Engineering, Manufacturing or Logistics would be advantageous
  • Clear communication skills both written and verbal
