Job Type: Full Time fixed-term

Contract type: Full time (35 hours per week), 12 month fixed term contract
Location: Liverpool
Salary: Grade 4. £27,142. Please note, for internal applicants the salary will be reflected by pay and award policy
Working arrangements: 35 hours per week between 8am and 6pm. Hybrid working - you will be required to work in the office a minimum of 6 days per month.
The Royal College of Physicians is recruiting a programme coordinator to join the National Respiratory Audit Programme. The successful applicant will work alongside the COPD and primary care workstreams of the audit as well as being responsible for ensuring that the audit programme’s meetings and events, communications activities, helpdesk, social media, reporting and finance processes are coordinated effectively; and that support of the wider team ensuring work is delivered to a high standard.
Purpose and scope
Key responsibilities
Ensuring the smooth running of meetings and events through detailed planning, organisation and note taking.
Coordinating the Programme’s communications including promoting service participation, delivering support sessions for clinical teams, producing a quarterly newsletter and maintaining a contact database.
Upholding strong working relationships with clinical teams and wider stakeholders including managing correspondence with sites who are not doing well.
Working with analysts and webtool developer to support data checking and cleaning
Supporting the production of audit materials and reports, including proof reading and liaison between the project teams and RCP design team and communications team
Independently managing subprojects as directed by the project manager.
About you
Experience of co-ordinating activities for complex/substantial work programmes, with numerous ‘external’ customers, to challenging deadlines.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to establish relationships and communicate effectively with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Excellent time management and task prioritisation skills.
Advanced knowledge and application of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
Experience of meetings and workshop management including: planning, organisation, hosting and minute/note taking.
Experience of using different media, including social media platforms, to communicate creatively with a wide range of audiences and to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
