Our charity client are looking for a Programmes Officer to join the team. Starting ASAP on a fixed term contract until 30th June 2024. �18.40ph, full time 35 hours per week. The role can offer remote working, however you need to be attend one of the London or Wales office (whichever is closest to you) if needed for important meetings.

This role will:

  • Contribute to two Programmes Teams (Grants & Programmes and Wales Programmes Teams) in achieving its objectives, supporting the delivery of time critical programme management activities are completed to a high quality.
  • Undertake a range of programme and grant making activities to support and drive the ambitions outlined within Carers Trust's strategy.

Main responsibilities

UK Programmes activities

  • Working alongside Senior Grants Manager, review of c.150 applications from individual carers per calendar month, within a set seven working day window.
  • Review of monitoring reports from funded activities, creating learning documents showcasing activities and best practice aligned with programme themes.
  • Creation of case study bank from 2023/24 activities, showcasing the impact of UK wide programme activities.

Wales Programmes activities

  • Review delivery plans and monitoring reports for 14 delivery partners, ensuring they are in line with specific programme aims, raising pertinent or consistency issues with Programme Lead.
  • Development of copy from monitoring information to update external websites with relevant information to ensure consistent messaging of availability of funds and support.
  • Complete amendments to reporting templates and develop clear reporting instructions to ensure consistent completion.
  • Acting as first point of contact for any programme specific queries, referring to Programme Lead for support if needed.
  • Working with Communications Manager and Head of Policy and External Affairs, creation of case study bank from 2023/24 activities, showcasing the impact of programme activities.
