THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Director of Operations (Paid Media), you will be executing Better Collective’s paid media strategy, and being responsible for managing client campaigns, developing and executing strategies, monitoring campaign performance, as well as reporting campaign insights to clients.
This person can translate client needs into trading objectives, implement trading strategies in DSPs and trading platforms, as well as dive deep into large data sets, analyse and develop insights. They will work to ensure campaigns run smoothly - troubleshooting technical issues, delivering reports, and optimising campaigns to client objectives, while delivering valuable insights to the client.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE…
At least 3 years of experience in a programmatic buying role generating large volumes of app installs.Fluency with media buying-related technologies, including DSPs, DMP, 3rd party ad servers and manual exchanges.Hands-on execution and in-the-field management of client campaigns.Excellent understanding of campaign, ad server, impression, and user data that can help capitalise on key drivers of performance and identify opportunities for account growth.A collaborative and positive attitude.Strategic, proactive, and creative thinking.Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Ability to present to clients.
OTHER…
An interest in sports betting would be useful.Knowledge of ad fraud, viewability and brand safety and how these are measured, managed and fit into the programmatic advertising landscape would be useful.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, execute and communicate programmatic campaign strategies that generate app installs for advertisers.Deliver insight into the implications of campaign constraints, such as scale, ramp up time, creatives used and cost per conversion.Contribute to clients' business growth by identifying new opportunities and encourage teams to implement creative solutions.Have excellent knowledge of media technology buying platforms (e.g. DSPs) and analytics tools.Assist in the evaluation of new tools, opportunities or enhancements for integration efforts to improve the value of the marketing dataset.Support and educate planning teams in identifying opportunities and delivering recommendations to clients.Work independently with guidance from management regarding overall goals and objectives.Set up campaigns accurately in different systems, ensuring ad tags and creative are loaded correctly into the systems. If appropriate, make sure the creatives are approved before the campaign launch date.Trafficking and executing programmatic campaigns using a variety of DSPs.Provide strategic campaign measurement recommendations that correlate to the targeting and brand objectives.Generating analyses and ROI reports against the buying.Collaborating with internal and external teams to fine tune the company’s media buying processes.Identify industry benchmarks.Conduct performance analysis of media buys across inventory & demand sources.Prepare reports at regularly scheduled intervals (daily/weekly/monthly) for use in ad operations reviews.Handle routine interfacing with ad partners for client specific inquiries.LOCATION
Location preference is to be within one of Better Collective’s Europe Offices (with an ideal candidate being in London). Location can be flexible for the right candidate. Working hours mean evenings are sometimes required working with a US and international market.APPLICATION DEADLINE
