TechYard Recruitment is currently working with a global consultancy who are building a new GMP practice.
They are hiring for a
Programmatic Consultant.
This person will be a programmatic subject matter expert.
This is a client-facing role that will be responsible for several strategic initiatives across the programmatic and GMP/GCP landscapes. These include collaboration on product strategy/vision, client-direct consultancy, license reselling, and internal and external training/education. This is a consultative role and the candidate will not be directly responsible for any media trading or activation.
The ideal candidate will have extensive programmatic digital media planning and buying experience across a variety of channels, very strong analytical, and writing skills, and the ability to make clear, concise presentations. They will have extensive hands-on experience using GMP products and will be individually certified in the use of DV360 and other relevant GMP technologies. Most importantly, they must possess a strong inner drive to redesign the digital marketing landscape, enjoy working with some of the finest minds in the industry, and want to be a part of something truly unique.
Key Responsibilities
Consultancy
Evangelize, train, and collaborate with teams on Product and consultancy offering
Support GMP/GCP tech maturity projects that highlight our data-led approach to programmatic delivery
Support the agency teams and central practice teams in driving the growth and innovation of GMP/GCP data-enabled capabilities and operations by developing new solutions and services
Development and ownership of GMP programmatic data-led consultancy solutions utilizing ad/mar-tech data including forecasting tools, activation governance tools, dashboards, and custom algorithms
Ownership of Programmatic Consultancy pipeline across relevant tech maturity projects and clients.
Working with stakeholders to identify programmatic opportunities and requirements
Lead pre-sales across relevant consultancy solutions and services
Help shape the post-sales implementation process, delivering project status updates and redeveloping project scopes as required. Responsible for the timely delivery of assigned projects.
Work with relevant teams and client contacts to identify requirements and opportunities, and feed these back into solution development roadmaps
Operational Support
Collaborate to improve operational DV360 processes
Act as a strategic resource to consult on key Google-related client programmatic consultancy projects
Support projects related to programmatic development, Google partnerships, and agency relations
Maintain thorough documentation of programmatic product and consultancy offerings
Support clients and PM Agencies with deploying data-enabled and programmatic services
Required Experience & Skills
Experience working for a fully certified GMP Op-Co and Sales Partner.
Be an expert in advertising technologies such as DSPs, SSPs, Exchanges, DMPs, Ad servers, Ad exchanges, verification technologies, cross-device tracking technologies, website analytics systems, DCO, etc.
Be capable of inventing and architecting complex technological solutions to solve specific marketing challenges.
Ability to lead projects independently from start to finish, working with internal and external teams to make decisions and maintain forward momentum
Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to lead a team.
Participate in new business meetings/pitches as a Programmatic Subject Matter Expert representing all possible uses of GMP/GCP in marketing programs.

Possesses a charismatic, engaging personality and can successfully interact with senior/executive-level client contacts
Be influential at a senior level and be a self-motivated operator, comfortable with navigating a matrixed global organisation.
Experience with delivering complex technical content to large groups, in a coherent, accessible, and inspiring way
Has the ability to grow client relationships through new strategies and innovative ideas
Proven track record of delivering client results and revenue
Desirable skills
Knowledge of the wider Google Marketing Platform, Google Cloud, and allied functions
Working with large multinational clients to deliver consultancy services and GMP-specific license reselling
