Program Manager - Plymouth, Manufacturing Industry

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join their dynamic team in Plymouth. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects that meet customer and internal stakeholder expectations in the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans
  • Oversee new product development, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to a team of project managers
  • Define project objectives, scope, and drive project execution
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying and mitigating risks
  • Ensure projects are delivered within budget and time constraints
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a HNC in Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in managing and delivering complex engineering projects
  • Previous experience in manufacturing industry is highly desired
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in project management software and tools
