The Program Coordinator will be responsible for providing quality services for the emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing of families and their children. They will work under the direction of the Program Director in planning and goal setting for the Mother and Baby program. They will work directly with the client base to assess and offer whatever services are deemed necessary. The Program Coordinator will assist in the training of volunteers. The program coordinator will spend one day per week supporting CityTeam’s Turning Point Community as necessary.The Program Coordinator is a Part-time non-exempt position. Wrapped up in a Christian environment that values Teamwork, Accountability, Humility, Innovation, and Joy.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS1. Under the direction of the Program Director, responsible for day-to-day coordination of CityTeam’s Mother and Baby Program, including supervision and compliance with policies and procedures.2. Give spiritual leadership and counsel to program participants.3. Supervise various program components as assigned.4. Maintain database information on participating families.5. Maintain organization and cleanliness of mother and baby work areas and basement.6. Maintain inventory control over supplies, i.e., diapers, formula, clothing.7. Must have organizational skill, the ability to motivate people, and be committed to getting the job done.8. Assist in the recruiting, training, and sustaining of volunteers.9. Must be a servant leader.10. Advocate for CityTeam with those in your circles of influence.11. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.RequirementsRequired Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentAdministrative experienceMinimum 2-years’ experience working in homeless servicesComputer literate and proficiency with Microsoft Suite and G-SuiteProfessional written and spoken communication skillsValid PA driver’s license with a clean recordPreferred Education and ExperienceExcellent customer service skillsCustomer service experienceFamiliarity with CityTeam’s mission and core valuesExperience leading interactive process group therapy sessionsExperience working in a non-profit environmentPhysical DemandsStand or sit for prolonged amounts of timeWalk, bend, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawlRegularly walk up and down stairsTalk and hearFrequently lift and move up to 20 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusFinger and hand dexterity to feel, handle, and operate objects, tools or controls, and to reach with hands and armsDriveWork ConditionsDays and hours may vary, depending on ministry needsThis role regularly uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machinesThis role will occasionally need to maneuver in tight quarters amongst donations, rolling racks, shelving, storage containers, stacked boxes, and a conveyer beltAdditional Eligibility Qualifications for CityTeamMust have an intimate, personal relationship with Jesus ChristMust be active in a local Christian body of believers or at least pursuing community with other Christ-followersMust have compatible theology on major issues of CityTeam's Statement of FaithMust be committed to serving God and the body of Christ
