It takes years to develop and is our most precious asset so it’s essential we keep it secret.The Senior Profit Protection Analyst role reports into the Lead Profit Protection Analyst who is the analytical lead for the reporting and visualisation of the ‘Total Loss’ risk profile across our Omni-Channel business. The Profit Protection Analytical Team analyse Profit Protection related data to provide the business with accurate information, including trend and risk analysis from all Retail channels (including online retail) which encompasses the entire supply chain stock journey, from manufacture through to sale.The team has a focus on strategic loss identification, prevention and reduction aspiring to utilise market leading best practice, technology and people. The Profit Protection team is a key function in the Retail Centre of Excellence, working with the functional owners of the Omni Chanel strategy and cross functional teams throughout the organization to affect and influence the retail strategy.About the roleThe breadth of Profit Protections responsibilities within Dyson spans from manufacture to sale. Most customers in the retail sector use a blended Omni channel approach to selecting and purchasing products. Similarly, bad actors also adopt an Omni Channel approach and evidence of their activities is therefore distributed across multiple platforms. Offenders target retailers throughout their entire supply chain. Through a blended approach that includes big data analytics, artificial intelligence and fraud analysts, mature organisations effectively manage shrinkage, ensuring exposure to internal, external and process loss are managed both proactively and reactively within agreed frameworks and tolerances.Dyson is on a strategic path to create a robust framework on which to manage our Profit Protection challenges and the Senior Analyst will unlock our business insights through actionable data.The Profit Protection Senior Analyst will support the Lead Profit Protection Analyst in evolving our data to ensure all areas of the ‘Total Loss’ risk profile are reported to the Profit Protection Field team and business stakeholders. They will expand our data understanding and data visualisation capabilities across multiple commercial reporting platforms across the ‘Total Loss’ Model.About youStrong analytical, statistical and numeracy skills with attention to detail and acute observation and listening skills. Comfortable interpreting the numbers and actively using data to help make commercial decisions.Outstanding IT skills - Google Cloud Platform (or similar Data Lake environments), BI Tools (Tableau / Power BI / Looker), MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint, SQL.Good knowledge of Stock Management and CRM systems (eg.
