£27,664 based on -£14.00 per hour a 38-hour week Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm

RedSky Personnel are looking to recruiting on behalf of our Leading client in Cumbernauld a Production Team Leader.  For this role you will need at least 2 years recent experience a hands-on Production Team Leader/ Manufacturing Team Leader/ Supervisory experience and live within an easy commute of Cumbernauld.

Working as part of a team, the Production Team Leader will perform an integral role within the Production department being responsible for the delivery of the production plan through effective management of people, product and process and will do so in line with the company, customers and legislative requirements.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 6am – 4pm, with the flexibility to increase hours depending on production or customer demands.  If additional capacity is required there would be the need to work either 6am – 6pm Monday-Thursday or a Friday shift 6am – 2pm.paid as an over time rate

The objective of this role is to lead a production department to produce finished goods to the agreed specifications and standards and achieve the daily planned output within the estimated labour hours.

• Manufacturing experience essential


• At least two years recent experience in managing/supervising a production team essential.

Production Team Leader/ Manufacturing  Team Leader Key responsibilities

• Ownership and accountability of production line ensuring that all production line team members are working safely, efficiently, and that product quality is always maintained.


• Achieve daily planned target outputs for the line - the accurate monitoring, recording, communicating and delivery of all key production metrics in area of ownership.


• Monitor quality throughout production controlling waste levels on the line ensure effective lines of communications are in place.


• Accurate record keeping of production outputs, waste, and stock.


• Good communication ensuring adequate training is carried out with all employees on the line.


• Encourage a one team approach where employees treat each other with dignity and respect.


• Support on the production lines alongside colleagues.


• Always ensure high quality and housekeeping standards.
