Production Team Leader

Weekends - Saturday & Sundays

A globally recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Production department with the appointment of a Production Team Leader.

As Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for the Safety, Quality, Output of the assigned area on a day to day basis, whilst upholding company standards and driving continuous improvement.

Working from their manufacturing facility in Shropshire, the Production Team Leader will be responsible for:

*Job ability – quality sign off and building of competence and confidence of technical skills

*Leading Teams and delivering  daily meetings, supporting escalation when required

*Problem solving and Kaizen – seeking root cause for downtime or quality issues using CI tools

*Deliver the Autonomous Maintenance schedule

*Able to lead investigations, resolve grievances and monitor absenteeism and take appropriate action where needed

*Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all Health and Safety environmental requirements

The successful candidate should have proven Production Team Leader experience.
