Twilight Shift Role – Monday to Friday 17:00 to 02:30
Production Team Leader required for an industry leading processing company located in Witham. This position would suit a team leader / supervisor looking for an opportunity where they will truly play an integral role within a team in which they can really make a difference. This opportunity also offers long term scope for further career development and progression.
Supervisory experience within a production / manufacturing environment is essential for this position and candidates from any industry are encouraged to apply. Proven experience implementing change and improvements would be advantageous for this role.
Reporting into the company’s Production Manager, this will be a varied role where you will be responsible in helping oversee production, H&S, quality, maintenance, and ongoing training. The role will be equally split between the office and the shop floor, where you will oversee a team of approximately 15 people.
The Production Team Leader Role:
· Organisation of people, workload, resources and equipment to deliver KPIs
· Support continuous improvement activities and waste reduction
· Monitor stock levels
· Oversee safe working environment and conduct workplace safety inspections
· Ensure routine maintenance is completed on time
· Identify training opportunities
The Production Team Leader Candidate:
· Proven experience overseeing and leading a team
· Any manufacturing / process / production background
