Production Supervisor

Job Shop Recruitment have a great opportunity to work for a prestigious client based in Paignton, they are looking for a Production Lead to join their team.

You will be required to drive and lead the production team to optimise the processes and procedures to provide structure to deliver a first-class experience across all products.

Plan and lead daily production activities ensuring all KPIs are met.

Plan production builds.

• Prioritizing of builds


• Raising of build plans


• Picking of stock required


• Delegating the builds to the production team


• Ensuring completed build plans are complete on the ERP system and end storage

Ensuring the required level of finished stock is available on the shelf.

Attend/chair production meetings with the production team. 

Assist on the production line where required.

Ensure any business-related objectives are communicated with the production team.

Ensure that staff are always motivated through direction, coaching, and encouragement and assist in the management of a harmonious environment.

To set controls and monitor performance of the production team, acting upon any issues where necessary.

To ensure that all employees go about their jobs with a sense of urgency and the required level of professionalism, and to carry out disciplinary action where necessary with assistance from HR.

• Proven work experience within Production/Manufacturing industry at Team Leader/Supervisor Level


• Excellent communication and organizational skills


• Strong team leader

• Solid level of Education


• Use of stock management systems


• Knowledge in the Microsoft Office Package


• Knowledge and experience in 5S and continuous improvement
