Production Supervisor - Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire - Permanent opportunity - Upto £35,000 - Monday to Friday 8.30am til 5pmWe have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Machinist looking to take a step up or a Production Supervisor looking for a new opportunity to utilise their skills.Our Client are a leading edge manufacture who are currently expanding and would like a 'hands on' Production Supervisor to join their team. To take responsibility for the smooth running the factory and also be able to work in the office.The successful Production Supervisor will be responsible for:Making sure the factory runs smoothly and Health and Safety is adhered to at all timesAttend to machine breakdowns: basic up keep and maintenanceSupport Production Operatives with any issues and day to day managementScheduling of work, production planning and quality checkingMaking sure production targets are met to the best possible standardResponsible for distributionManaging stock and material levelsPutting new idea's and processes together for improvementsManaging new production projectsYou will need to have:Hands on Production Machining experienceStrong communication both verbal and writtenAble to lead by exampleInterest in developing peopleAble to work to targetsKeep a calm attitude at all timesGood computer skillsISO9001 experienceTravail Employment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.JBRP1_UKTJ
