Production Supervisor

A Production Supervisor is required to join a recognised manufacturing company in the Aerospace industry, who supply a wide range of their components to some of the most recognised Aerospace names globally. Offering a salary of �44,000 - �49,000 per annum DOE, pension scheme, ongoing training and support and an attractive employee benefits program, this is the ideal opportunity for someone who has an engineering or manufacturing background.

As the Production Supervisor, you will be the first point of contact for department matters while supporting the department manager to ensure production is being delivered on time and at the highest quality every time. Along with the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with cross functional teams to support growth and improvement projects
• Lead the department in ensuring that customer requirements are exceeded
• Ensure daily production KPIs are achieved in line with company targets
• Promote improvement activities in relation to processes and products
• Support the team in meeting and exceeding requirements for quality, delivery and costing
• Hands on involvement within the machining department
• Manage shift handovers
• Support the wider team with HS&E activities (6S, near misses, audits, action plans and continuous improvement)

As the Production Supervisor you will already be working in a manufacturing environment with leadership skills in production. As well as the following requirements

Requirements

• Leadership experience
• Experience in precision engineering/ CNC/ Machining environment
• Aerospace industry experience desirable
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
