Inspire Resourcing are recruiting for an engineering company in the Sheffield area who are looking for an experienced production supervisor to join their existing team.

Duties:

• Management of the existing team, including appraisals, absence management, and return to work paperwork


• Ensure production is running smoothly and in a safe manner


• Investigation of quality issues and ensure root cause corrective action is taken


• Organise, plan and prioritise workload to achieve deadlines


• Skills management by use of the skills matrix, running skills assessments and identifying skills gaps.


• Creating, implementing and verifying the training plans.


• To control and reduce production costs with the shopfloor areas

Experience Needed:

• Previous experience in Manufacturing/Engineering


• Experience managing the daily and weekly production of a busy department.


• Able to demonstrate an excellent record of successful project planning and execution.


• Previous experience in a similar role

Salary up to �38,000 per annum
