Company Description:

A leading manufacturer of safety critical components is looking to recruit a Production Supervisor to join their team.

This role will be responsible for ensuring production plans are followed and fulfilled to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise production team members which will include monitoring time to complete projects, timekeeping, recruitment of new shop floor staff, performance reviews, HR issues in conjunction with HR - disciplinaries and grievances.


• Ensure employees complete timesheets on time and accurately.


• Conduct corrective actions.


• Allocate daily tasks to each team member.


• Ensure sufficient resources are allocated according to workload.


• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.


• Assess skills and performance levels to identify training needs.


• Maintain data in SAP.

Experience required:

• Experience in a Production Supervisor / Team Leader role within a fast paced, demanding manufacturing environment.


• Previous experience with SAP or similar ERP/MRP

This position is commutable from:

• Rochford, Leigh-on-Sea, Basildon, Canvey Island, Westcliff-on-Sea, Rayleigh, Benfleet
